Finally, a common sense gun ruling

Mar 24, 2021, 9:35 PM

The 11 judge full panel(en banc) of the 9th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals ruled today that the 2nd Amendment does not guarantee a right to carry guns openly in public. Clearly, SCOTUS will review the case. The majority opinion was written by Republican, Judge Jay Bybee, who was appointed by George W. Bush. He was joined in the majority by another Bush appointee and 5 Democratic judges. The majority opinon included:

"After careful review of the history of early English and
American regulation of carrying arms openly in the public
square, the en banc court concluded that Hawai‘i’s
restrictions on the open carrying of firearms reflect
longstanding prohibitions, and therefore, the conduct they
regulate is outside the historical scope of the Second
Amendment. The en banc court held that the Second
Amendment does not guarantee an unfettered, general right
to openly carry arms in public for individual self-defense.
Accordingly, Hawai‘i’s firearms-carry scheme is lawful."

White gun owners line the route of a George Floyd protest. They show up at a protest armed, and then claim they're there to, uh, defend themselves.

That's Horsesh*t. You might have the right to "keep and bear arms" but you don't have the right to intimidate the p*ss out of everybody else.

Lucky for me, my third grade reading comprehension exceeds that of a bunch of men with #######, in powdered wigs.

Anyway, 9th circuit lol. You know, the one that says that the president cannot deport people that illegally enter the country.

Do you even realize your post was about Hawaii, and other states (20+) do allow open carry by anyone. The ruling is essentially backing up state's rights. Hawaii is a special case because of their geographic location and when they were added as a state.

Your post is reinforcing the 20+ states that DO ALLOW OPEN CARRY. The state you live in allows it too.

Quit wasting my time.
