Regardless of who likes or disliked him, he kept his head down and worked. DJ at least deserves respect for how he truly cared about this program and did all he could. With that said, the move should’ve been made a long time ago. None of this boosting up DJ crap anymore, it is what it is. We have no playoff contention now, we need to start Cade. Even though Dabo wont.

DJ did the best he was capable of doing. I wish that I had done the best that I could have but I have not. You can't ask any more of that young man. His best, unfortunately, is not good enough for the Clemson program. Fault lies in Dabo for not addressing the Streeter/Grisham problem.

Its not the kids fault. Dabo Swinney should have been honest with himself and with DJ last year and told him “you arent there yet, we have to get someone who is, and I will give you every opportunity to get there and earn it.” Instead, he plugged his ears and told us fans to be patient and that DJ was the starter, end of story.

Had nothing to do with not liking DJ. I think he is an excellent and classy young man. I don’t think he is a quality D1 QB. Not personal at all, he doesn’t produce at a high level in his job and that is what he is being criticized for. If you don’t do your job well, you should be replaced, plain and simple.
