Few thoughts on the offense

Scored 49 points but should have scored 60 or more. It’s hard to have a lot of confidence that this team can score on elite defenses. Dj lacks touch throwing the ball he missed a few throws he should have made. He doesn’t have much chemistry with his receivers and Dj doesn’t look that comfortable in the pocket to me. Now our running backs I like pace and Shipley they have the potential to be a dynamic duo either one of those guys can take it to the house at any given time. But the offensive line needs to improve and on will Taylor being a wildcat gimmick type Qb I don’t really mind it. He’s sorta a wrinkle and gives defenses another element to prepare for. Overall this offense has so much work to do if we are going 11-1… I think Dj should have played the entire game to build chemistry and work on his touch

Right on the recievers or DJ don’t look to sharp so far. Might need a shakeup on the starters and give Ajou a chance

You nailed it.
I am really hoping the regular season helps to sharpen their offense and build more chemistry. If they do they can get to be equal to (or close to) some of the past good teams.
Defense is very good and will help the case..

DJ sure does not look comfortable or smooth. Maybe we are spoiled but he is very raw compared to what we were used in Watson and TL. We saw good running but that is our OL against a weak team. Worried about ACC not even thinking Natty. We will know after NCSt and BC.

Could have probably scored 70( I predicted 52 because Dabo does have the tendency to pull the starters midway through the 3rd)
I did not see the first two series( so did a lot of others from what I hears) because of the end of the Rutgers and Syracuse game going over) so I can't comment on the first two scores.
I will not comment yet on D.J. because I don't think you can compare game 1 vs game 2 even though we played the Bulldogs twice.
As to the O-Line the next couple of games might be a better indication of what to expect.

And TE has not progressed as on OC. Much of this is on him. Also, DJ should have been in 1 or 2 more series.

Shame on the coaches for not realizing they need to work on his comfort level.
