Feaster and transfer... The good and bad!

May 13, 2019, 1:42 PM

Good: for Clemson it opens up another available scholarship for a huge class that has momentum and few available spots open. We have had to turn away many 4 stars due to lack of space I've heard. Also this allows ET to get full reps and Dixon more quality reps. As well as opens the door for a freshman like Chez to show what he can do.

The Bad: not many transfers from Clemson are ever heard from again. Unless you're in jail 24-7 like Swag Kelly. It's obvious Feaster is transferring for more playing time yet he's only going to face the same problems at the next school he goes to. Trying to overtake someone else who has earned that starting role. He is at a disadvantage bc he has to learn a playbook within a couple months that others have already learned. If Feaster was smart he would have gone with the status quo by staying in his lane at Clemson and being a 1-2 punch with ET. He would have gotten all the chance to show his ability this year bc the cameras will be all on Clemson. If you got the stuff for the next level then it will be noticed . Personally I'm happy for his dedication the past few years, but I also feel like he's frustrated not being the #1 guy. Regardless of what he says that's the truth and that won't be changed when he gets to another school. I talked with some of his family members last year and he was thinking of it last year before the year started. I remember telling them to tell him to stay with the status quo and he won't regret it. He won a national championship. Just saying good luck to this young man. Don't agree with his decision, but if he don't Wana be at Clemson we have others that do. Go tigers

As another said he is not going to open another scholarship for us for this recruiting cycle, a walk on can earn his but who knows. Entering the portal doesn't mean he's leaving and I would much rather he not leave as I've always had huge hopes for Feaster it just so happens we took a 3* our of LA and he was a diamond in the rough that became the most explosive back in the nation. I just hope wherever he goes he gets everything he wants out of that program and has no regrets.

him as a 4 star and he was a composite 4 star and had insane numbers in high school.

Feaster was a senior this year. We got his ship next year anyway.

This is a horrible Take.
#1 Feaster talent wise is a top 10 rb in all of college football. He'll start alot of places.
#2 Feaster Plays RB the easiest position to play playbook wise. all he has to learn is the terminology Football is football to a rb.
#3 Clemson doesn't do 1-2 punches at rb Travis Etienne got over 200 carries No player on the team even got half as many carries...and we had more Blowouts than any team in the country so there was no reason for back up rb's not ro get touches.
#4 Feaster getting 200 carries rushes for 1500 yards and probably is drafted in the 3rd round. Staying and being a back up and he goes undrafted. Just like Albert Huggins and Choice. I RESPECT him for doing whats best for him instead of pleasing a fan that will never put a dollar in his pocket or help provide for his family

I assume Feaster will want to go to a top program, which means that he will be competing with top RBs. He thinks he's going to an Alabama, Georgia, or Ohio State and just be handed the starting RB role? What decent program will promise him anything like that?? Tired of hearing about it. We'll fine at RB.
