I saw a boat at Red's Icehouse once that had that name written in airbrushed cursive on the transom. It was about a 25'-27' long pink Cigarette or Baja style pointy nose boat, with a loud V8 inboard/outboard engine, and "Da Boom Boom Room" also airbrushed in cursive, rotated 45 degrees on the cabin's sliding door.

The owner and his girlfriend/wife/concubine were exactly as you would think someone driving a pink boat with the name "Pink in the middle" would look like. They probably lived in Summerville or Ladson in a mobile home; he had a curly mullet, pretty big beer gut. The female wasn't exactly trim, and along with several other large tattoos, had a cats head tattooed around her belly button, where the belly button was the cats open mouth.

They had most of Red's patrons attention, as the woman's antics on the boat were over the top. She had obviously been over served, and was rolling around the front/top of the boat like she was Tawny Kitaen in the WhiteSnake video. She had a miller Lite in her hand, and rolled right back into the front seating area, and bounced off the floor. She immediately jumped up and raised her beer because she didn't drop it. It was funny to hear everyone at Red's in unison go "ooooooh" when she fell, then "YEAAAAA" when she jumped back up.

Back in college, we had a little crew of us who grew up

around boats and the lake/coast, and had a nice little run where we'd meet up, hang out at party island/Charlie T's, etc. We had probably 3 boats and a couple of jet skis in our little fleet, never had a problem for 2 years. Then some of us started getting girlfriends, and the pack expanded.

It went from maybe 10-11 people every weekend to 20+ quickly. People we barely knew would start calling us at like 9am Saturday morning asking when we're going out. Started getting very...not relaxing. People would be jumping out of the boat while you're riding around, screaming at people, throwing #### in the lake, just going wild. That's apparently what people who didn't grow up around water do when they get out there, really felt like it was a matter of time before someone dies or we get a BUI.

So we had to start telling people no. Most of them got massively butthurt and called us ######## to anyone who would listen. Of course, I was the king #######, people I went to high school with still don't talk to me this day over it. But when I get down to the dock and you're there waiting on me already with no prior notice....Well, #### you.

Not saying you are like this, I am sure you aren't. I'm just trying to give you fine gentlemen some insight into the long time boat owners mindset, and why they may be the way they are. You may not have ###### them, but somebody has.
