I'll "carry on" now, you are technically correct, he actually asked the question to his experts on DISINFECTANTS, "is there a way we can do that by INJECTION inside or almost a cleaning". Now, let's define DISINFECTANTS in the context it was used in that press conference. You see, I watched that one live and I was blown away and I remembered bleach so I went back and found an expanded video of that PC. The expert's chat on DISINFECTANTS starts at 5:15 and you don't even have to hit the play button because you will see the words "BLEACH and ALCOHOL" on the video board right beside him:

So, when you say Trump "didn't mention bleach" that is just wrong when taking in the full context of the PC. Then when you say Trump "didn't tell anybody to do anything" you are wrong again. This defense is like saying "he said peacefully on 1/6", while disregarding that the other 99% was war on congress and Mike Pence BS. He actually, in front of the whole world, asked his experts to look into doing something that 90%+/- of people already knew would kill you and he just kept on going, even when he was seeing all the weird looks he was getting from the sane people in the room. Psaki is so FOS. Recently it was the GOP according to her that favored defunding the police. Uh no. It's a minority of Dems, but I would like the name of one, just one Pub favoring defunding.
Now that Governor McMaster has pushed back against Biden's plan to go door to door pushing the vaccine, Psaki flips the switch to indicate that McMaster is somehow vocalizing that the vaccine is not effective and somehow is not providing access to South Carolineans to the vaccine. That is total BS.
I actually agree with the Guv that it is seriously not a good idea to have folks showing up unannounced at the doors of folks, pushing the vaccine. I can see that ending very bad for anyone taking on such a task. Being a mobile home repo man would probably be safer.
People are already vaccine hesitant and mistrusting without having someone show up on their property pushing the vaccine.
I'm in favor of the vaccine and will also take the booster if and when it is indicated. However, people have pretty much made up their minds re: the vaccine by now. Going door to door is probably a very low yield approach. Until there is a variant that is sickening and killing middle aged and younger folks at a significant level, I don't see the demand for the vaccine increasing. Sadly, we are beginning to see that in some areas, but until there is a perception that COVID is a threat to those that aren't elderly, we've probably vaccinated most adults.
