Fantasy football draft qwestions…

So every year I play FF. I’m not a huge nfl fan but I do like to watch and follow our Clemson Alumni. My team every year is 25-45% former Clemson players. I usually finish in the middle of the pack however last year Tee Higgins basically won the league for me. My first 1st place finish. Anyhoo, I know it’s early but do I take a chance on drafting DW4? I’ve had him and Nuk for years now and I feel it’s 50/50 whether he plays at this point. But if he does it would be a steal in the last rounds if available.

Anyone’s else play a mostly former Clemson player FF team?

A few years back someone hosted a Yahoo College FF league here on TNET anyone interested in doing that again?

I do the same exact thing. I would wait on DW4. Even if he gets moved its possible he doesn't play this year. Maybe pick him up late if hes available.

That’s my thought too. Hopefully more info will come out before my draft. Some of the latest news seems like Watson is considering playing for Houston at least until a trade happens. Maybe they told him “look if you want to be traded go out an ball out for a few games because the only way we trade you is if someone pays us a crazy amount of draft picks and players”

but of course I'm not a former Clemson player only fantasy player lol. All my leagues have respectable cash prizes I want. I take guys at value as they fall to me in my drafts. Naturally, I think it's really cool when Clemson guys fall to me but I never reach for them.

As for Tee, he was WR29 last year in PPR with zero top 10 weekly finishes. I love the guy, and that's really solid for a rookie on a bad team, but definitely not why you won your league lol. Most first place teams had guys like Kelce, James Robinson, Aaron Rodgers, Justin Jefferson and Devante Adams; I'd be surprised if you didn't have at least one of them.

I would under NO circumstances count on Deshaun as a your starting QB. Get someone else and then grab Deshaun in round 13 or later. It's impossible to tell what's gonna happen but don't put any eggs in a basket that might not play.

I'd be down for a college league. Never done one before. Would be interesting with such a massive player pool.

I'm playing this year for the first time in a couple years. I've lost a lot of interest in the NFL over the last couple of years but I thought it would be fun to play this year with some people I know. I'm definitely going to be winging it as I don't have the knowledge of the NFL like I used to but it still should be fun. I would be interested in playing in a league with folks from TNet.
