It's very easy in 2022 to look back to 2008 and laugh at the TNET speculation on the next head coach. There were very few here that were fully behind Dabo. And rightfully so, since very few of us knew much about him. And after the 2010 6-7 season a lot of people were calling for his ouster.

It seems silly now... Dabo has returned us to the Promised Land. But when it was actually happening, if you were outspoken in favor of Dabo Swinney as the head coach, people would've looked at you funny. Luckily, we only get to argue on internet message boards, and not actually make important decisions.

I can say that only 1 appears to still be alive. The last post from one was a meme about Muschamp starting covid to avoid another loss to Clemson. I'd have to assume corona got to him.
