NC State offense could only muster 10 against the MS State D. MS State Defense allowed LA Tech and Memphis to score 34 and 31 points respectively. Though they put up 45 against both South Florida and Furman. As well as near a 1000 yards combined. They could only muster 32 total rushing yards against MS State and that has to have our D licking their chops. If our D keeps playing at a high level I believe they have a great chance at keeping the zero TD streak alive. The key will be having zero busts in the secondary as I’m sure NC State will take multiple deep shots. Bonus their FG kicker is %50 on attempts this year.
Their defense seems to be a little improved. Two shutouts against South Florida and Furman That is difficult no matter who you play. They also held MS State to 22 total rushing yards and made them throw the ball a whopping 49 times. If they sell out to stop the run we should get a great deal of deep shots. Something we haven’t seen. I’m counting on seeing at least 2 or 3 big plays of 25 or more and maybe 1-2 of 40+yrds.
My prediction Clemson 34 NC St. 17.

Given the kind of weirdness that has historically happened

to us at Rosalyn Carter-Finley Stadium, I would take escaping with another of those 14-8 wins this week. The Pundits will hammer the remaining nails in our coffin, but if the smoke clears at the end of the year, and we are a 12-1 ACC Champion, the CFP Powers That Be will have a hard time keeping us out of their little party again.

I’ll take any win. Any time. If we win out and are 7 time ACC champs. And our only loss is a top 5 loss at a neutral site the first game of the year with a new QB, new center, and new RB. There’s absolutely ZERO chance the committee leaves us out. I don’t care how ugly our eye test is.
Don’t think we can score 34 on Wolfe Believe it will be more like 24 if we don’t turn the ball over I do think they could get 17 on us They are at home have a experienced team with good backs and receivers If you noticed our defense allowed a lot of yards last Saturday When we went up 14 to 3 with 8 minutes left we allowed them to come all the way down the field to get within our 10 zone stop earlier we get ball and game over I saw a lot of defensive mistakes
