Everyone is frustrated with Brownell, I’m going

To scream “serenity now!” Tonight before bed.

We’ve had some roster issues this year. Brad didn’t coach his best game tonight, I’d say that’s fair.

It seems like Brad is going to be around for one more season. We have the best recruit coming in a long time. We should have better depth next year.

I’m going to give him one more year before I turn on him with the rest of you. Everyone deserves a chance at redemption IMO.

"three or four or five chances of redemption?"

I agree. We do have the best class in memory coming in. I've seen PJ hall in person and I'll tell you this much. From being at the beach ball classic all those coaches raved about him. I haven't seen the Canada kid yet, but if he's anything close to PJ hall I'll be thankful. Note: PJs team (dorman) sits as the #3 overall team in the nation for a reason.

I've seen a bunch of ravers in my time... Many were raving lunatics...

So does Hall come in and be a star next year? I watched his highlight tape and he reminds me of Happ from Wisc but a little more athletic.

LOL. 10 years of consistent garbage. Let's give him a shot at redemption. This is one of the longest leashes I've ever seen a program give a coach.

what‘s the point of shutting it down now?

Abandon our best class in years, and get who to take over and win next year?

I’m saying if he can’t get consistent results next year at least we’ll have some talent for the next coach.

People are so angry. There’s nothing to be mad about it’s just basketball.

I completely agree.

Why would you not assume the players would transfer? If we have to keep a coach for a recruiting class, then why would the players stick around after a year?

We may lose a couple

But we really need to hang on to the guys in this class

I’m sure they know there’s a chance Brad won’t be here in the next 2-3 years

We heard the same before last season. We had high expectations. How did that go. He should have been let go four years ago. Every year we wait, it puts us farther behind the eight ball.

there were a lot of things out of Brads control this year

And I’m not talking about fan support and facilities.

We’ve had people out since before the season started. Our best player was out with the flu. No need for a knee jerk reaction based on last night.

Let’s hope we can heal up and continue to build functional depth for next season. It would be nice to see us get healthy and finish strong.

So what was the excuse for the veteran Sweet 16 squad last year. Or pretty much every other year but ‘18.

I’m not here to make excuses for Brad. I wanted him gone

I just don’t think the timing is right at this moment. That’s just one mans opinion. We might as well see how next year plays out now.

If he can’t get it done next year just hire his WR coach and be done with it.

You'll never get fired for two straight 20 win seasons at Clemson. We lost to Greg Marshall in the NIT

Who is responsible for the play vs ND in the lat minute where we ran off 25 seconds of nothing rather than driving the basket in hopes of a score or foul ? And who is responsible for Mack shooting 3's rather than getting in the paint where he is much more effective, defensively and offensively. Who I ask - the players or does the coach have no influence? These are not skill related but tactical.

Who is responsible for having that team in the game vs a 14-8 acc tram in the last minute without his best player.

fan base. Especially with the success of the football team, and he will be the basketball coach next season. I like CBB as a man, and a representative of Clemson University. He's just not been able to get it done on the court minus the one season.

There are probably many reasons for this, but in the end, it all comes down to winning and losing, and he just simply hasn't gotten the job done.
