Fantastic news on Eason. Maybe this Dabo guy knows what he's doing.
Or are we disappointed that we lost the chance to complain since Eason isn't someone's family member or that he didn't go to Alabama 20 years ago?

Can you explain why he isn't a home run hire?

Pretty sure he's making fun of the official tnet coach firing brigade that wants any coach who's position group is underperforming for a quarter fired.

That was going to be my question. Maybe I was mistaken but I am fairly sure I saw steady improvement in our running backs as the season progressed.
I think there was some strange dynamics in the running back room at the start of the season, but once Dixon left the team it appears the new players progressed nicely as the season wore on to the point where they were our primary weapons on offense.

At first I was a little concerned how CJ would do at coaching. But WOW has he done a great job. I really liked Lynn J but CJ stuck to his principals and LynnJ left. The RB room got much better as the year went on and I am sure CJ had a lot to do with that

CJ "no longer a home-run hire" because RB2/3 and RB5 decide to transfer. RB4 then comes in as new RB3 and looks every bit as good as RB2/3 that transferred. Meanwhile RB1 and RB2 improve significantly over the course of the season. RB1 looks like he could be the best all-around RB we've had since, well, CJ himself. Maybe better. No disrespect to Etienne who is possibly the best pure RB, but didn't add to the return game like CJ did.
But yeah, Tigernet experts are really upset about Lyn-J (who I liked, but didn't progress like Etienne) and RB5 leaving. Makes sense.
Watch CJ still become one of the better RB coaches we've ever had.

as soon as they realize that any AU commits or current players aren't portaling to Clemson, they will be back to their miserable doom and gloom life

Yep. I can hear it now. TNet logic - We had a bunch of commits leave and follow BV. If we don’t get a bunch of guys from Auburn following Eason he must not be very good.

I really don't have too many concerns on that side of the ball, with or without Eason though all of those guys have to prove themselves. It's the other side of the ball that I'm worried about.
