The Chickens are already on the strength-of-schedule topic

Jul 21, 2021, 3:10 PM

on sportstalk here in Columbia. The consensus this morning is 6-7 wins this "rebuilding" year and they would be closer to 10 wins with an ACC schedule like Clemson's. Their schedule is no harder than ours if you look at it, we play each other and we both play Georgia. Their SOS ranking is higher than ours because they have to play us and our's is lower because we have to play them. Who with any real sense gives a crap anyway???

They went on and on last year about have the pre-season hardest-schedule and I think they ended up winning the Pre-Season Hardest Schedule National Championship. I wonder if they got a trophy for that...

Even with a few "gimmes" on the schedule...

uof6c will still struggle to win three or four games.

Is it really a "rebuilding year" when ECU is considered a toss-up game for you?

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

All that really counts anyway is the outcome of their game with us. That's the true commonality and the results ain't gonna be pretty for them.

Agree (kinda)

Jul 21, 2021, 3:25 PM

it really counts to me if they lose EVERY game.

Simple WE Make Their Schedule Harder

The make ours easier.

Please remind me again how they have fared against ACC

Jul 21, 2021, 3:27 PM

competition as of late. These guys are beyond delusional if they think they could have 10 wins in the ACC. They wouldn’t even have a 10 win season if they played in the SoCon.

Exactly brother, take off Ga and our game with them and look

at the remainder of each schedule. I would argue ours is harder than theirs.

How many games have they lost to the ACC in a row??

Well they don't play The Citadel this year so that's probably one in the win column.

I don't see 6 wins on their schedule. Am I wrong?
