But he doesn't want to. He wanted to play in Cali at the Rose Bowl. Said he's been to the Superdome and seen games and he knows all about New Orleans. 95 percent of the team wanted the Rose Bowl

Dabo had the choice of either bowl and he chose New Orleans because it was a better situation for the team and their fans to stay in the Southland. Probably an extra day of practice since the flight to the west coast is loooong!
Doesn’t matter. N.O. Will be a great trip for everyone. I haven’t been since the mid 80’s but I remember it well! Is Pat O’Brians and Brennan’s still in business?

7-day turnaround for Atlanta should we win. The 3-hour time lag getting back physically and mentally up to speed coming back east is tough. If it were a longer window they may have gone for it.

I agree.. it would have been more expensive to travel to the left coast but I was looking forward to visiting that part of the country.
It may have turned out like the trip to the desert! I was not impressed with the long drive from Vegas to Phoenix.
Hundreds of miles and ole Forest didn’t even see a tree!
