Re: ESPN cuts away from Dabo interview when he gives thanks to

It wasn't on purpose! To believe it was would be to think that ESPN/ABC purposely made themselves look foolish so the word "Lord" would not be said on the air. Why, because they hate God that much? Remember in their package before the game they had Dabo say he couldn't get Jesus a ticket. If there was really some grand anti-Christian agenda they wouldn't have allowed that.
Sometimes a glitch is just a glitch. There doesn't have to be some evil conspiracy behind it.
It was a great weekend for Clemson with awesome national exposure. Let's celebrate that and not make stuff up.

Yes, that's clearly what happened. Thanking God and Jesus in a postgame interview? Unheard of! Dabo had to realize that the shadowy forces that run ESPN would never let him break one of sporting's greatest taboos.

ESPN did not cut away from Dabo because he gave thanks to the lord. You wanna know how I know this... BECAUSE ON EVERY SPORTSCENTER I SAW SAT NIGHT/SUNDAY, THEY SHOWED DABO'S POSTGAME INTERVIEW OF HIM THANKING THE LORD AND HIS DAD. Literally the only thing they showed of his postgame interview was him thanking the lord and his dad.
I was at the game so I didn't see it live, but that makes no sense for ESPN to cut his interview after the game, only to show it 5 times on the next 5 sportscenters of him thanking the lord and his dad.

That's not what happened. Production error.

They apologized and have shown the entire interview many times since.
You guys may not like ESPN (and the over the top SEC promotion is annoying), but trust me every sideline reporter wants to get to Dabo as fast as possible following a win because he has shown time and again that his off the cuff remarks following a big win are EPIC.
And every ESPN sideline person is going to go into their performance review and say "You know, I was the one that did that post game interview with Dabo that got a jillion hits on YouTube."
Trust me they want to record and broadcast every single syllable that comes out of Dabo's mouth.

And if your God isn't big enough to stop/handle a glitch, then he isn't that big of a God. Is he? Build a bridge. It's ok. God can handle ABC and ESPN. I don't care that he thanked God. What means the world to me is that he thanked his dad! If my dad had recently passed and I had just captained the ship that brought down a historical football program, you dang straight I'm bringing the memory of my dad to the post game interview! Go Dabo! Go Tigers!

It is things like this that make non believers dislike Christians so much. You pretend that Christianity is constantly under attack. The fact is, Christianity isn't under attack. Christians are. Why? Because you always play the victim.
It was a technical glitch, they're replayed it ad-nauseum.

I don't feel ashamed at all. I am a Christian. I respect your view but my statement is based on the most vocal Christians who see some non-existant conspiracy against Christianity. Look at the "War on Christians" that Mike Huckabee talks about all the time, frankly, using Christ and Faith as a means to bolster his quest for personal power.
On this board, repeatedly I see posts on how Christians are being persecuted. It's true to an extent on this board because they repeatedly post nonsense like ABC production glitch and portray it as an insult to the Lord.
I stand by my statement. I'm quite confident that very many who claim to be "Christians" aren't, not really. Faith is a life...not a club. It's not us against "them". There is no substitute for love and compassion for those who are lost.....there is NO room for condemnation for non-believers.
IMHO
