End of 1st Half Orange Bowl

What did Dabo expect Cade to do on the last two plays of the half?

0:30 seconds left: 2nd and 15 from the 18yard line
- 4 of the 5 routes were to the middle of the field. Only the 3-yard routes were open. Klubnik kept it.

0:12 seconds left: 3rd and 10 from the 13yard line
- Coaches signaled to run a play
- 3 of the 5 WRs didn't run a route. They half jogged to a position
- 1 of the 5 WRs (Cole Turner) runs a fade against a DB much taller than him
- I assume Shipley was the only designed route call for this play, but Klubnik started running before Shipley broke open.

So Klubnik did leave quick on the last play, but why only give him 1 decent option for throwing?

Well I would say if all that you say is true which I really don’t know but I will take your word for the sake of argument.. he expected him to quickly throw the ball away and stop the clock and kick a field goal.

under NO CIRCUMSTANCES ... none, zero, none .... do you take a sack, throw it out the back of the end zone, get the try for 3... points out of the half... that is mental mistake, one I hope CK2 gets into his system and learns from it.

FWIW he took off before a single receiver had turned around... they all were running routes to the end zone except Shipley.
