Our office is shutting down for the afternoon now so I will be posted up in my in-laws pool with a pair of these for the whole thing.

Probably finally look at an eclipse site today to determine what and when I would see something that I couldn't care less about. Step outside. Burn my eyes out due to poor planning. Get disability for the rest of me life. #winning

Kidsof- are being held an extra hour at school so they can view the eclipse instead of being on the bus. School is providing glasses for all the students.
Work is having a 1300-1600 viewing party. Moon Pies and Sun Chips to be served. I'll probably work up to about 2:00 or 2:15 then get a Moon Pie.
I'll be heading from Duluth back toward Lake Lanier at the end of the day, so I'll be going the opposite direction of the Clipsepocalypse viewers coming back from North Georgia and upstate South Carolina, hopefully will be an easy drive home.

Family: On a boat in the middle of Lake Burton enjoying the Totality unless they are too worn out from wake boarding, tubing, skiing, etc. all day.

I would very much enjoy being on a boat for this thing. Mostly because I like boats a lot. I imagine the lake is going to be slammed with like minded people though. Maybe even 4th of July slammed.

I was up there all weekend. Yes, it was July 4th busy.
Clayton, GA was already slammed on Sunday. Several fields had become tent cities (for a price) by Sunday afternoon.

Left my #### special glasses at home. They'll be totally worthless tomorrow.
I grabbed the lens out of a welding hood. That should do the trick.
Other than that, I'll just hang out outside of the plant and watch it, then get back to work.
Real exciting sheet... let me tell ya.

According to the NASA total eclipse website, a shade 14 welding lens is the only lens adequate for viewing the eclipse.

our factory is shutting down to all go outside and star at this natural phenomenon and watch out for lizardman strikes. Eclipse glasses are provided by employer so if I go blind, I can easily file a lawsuit. What a bunch of suckers. Their also taking a big group pig of all of us with our glasses on.
I will then return inside and furiously beat out a paycheck in the men's stall #2. Wave under the stall if you want to join me.

Our plant doesn't have women (well there are 4 or so, out of 400). 1 crane operator and the rest are secretaries. Our women's bathroom is where we have our network servers.
We had a toilet blow up a few weeks ago and knocked the network out for days.
Good stuff.

It wasn't THAT close. This thing REALLY BLEW UP. I mean like it went everywhere.

I'd like to think that our maintenance guys are some of the best in the world. Our IT guys however... Well, let's just say that if they were good at what they do, I woudldn't be effing off on Tigernet all day.
