DW's Knee

Should the operation be asap and thereby give him approx. 1 more month for rehab prior to next season's start or does he play in our bowl game and take a chance that the rehab is not finished by the end of August.
My first blush is get the thing fixed now. Bowls have really become little more than exhibitions--of course excepting the new playoffs--. What say you?

When he wants to have knee surgery. It's his and his parents decision to make. If he wants it now, he gets it now, if he wants to wait, he can wait.

Waiting a month will not change his readiness for August practices.

The idiot talk show hosts and folks claiming to know something about knee injuries and recovery time suggesting differently are talking out of their a hole.

If he is comfortable with the brace, and he thinks it allows him to compete in a bowl game to the level he wants to - go for it.
