South Carolina has a stadium anthem, not not having one is a good idea. That being said, a fight song is also basically the same thing and we do not need to create tradition just for the heck of it.
That being said, a few ground rules:
Song cant be older than the players. So anything before 1998 is out but at the same time should feel older not to intimidate the older fans. Next, it needs to be kid friendly. It should be fairly obscure too but also a minor cultural nod that students like.

I know Michigan currently uses it, but it's quintessential drunk college anthem. Everyone knows the words, you can recognize it after the first three notes, and the more you are losing the more it resonates.

Just to clarify, a stadium anthem is a song played at one specific time over the speaker system that the entire student body or stadium sings along to and gets hyped.
Examples:
1. Alabama - Sweet Home Alabama - Roll Tide Roll
2. Notre Dame - Shipping Up to Boston (DKM)
3. Florida - Won't Back Down (TP)
4. Ohio State - Hang On Sloopy
5. Wisconsin - Jump Around
6. West Virginia - Country Roads
7. VT - Enter Sandman
On and On...
ESPN did a feature on College Football Stadium Anthems recently and it seems to be gaining momentum on college campuses.
Liverpool FC has a pretty cool one also "Never Walk Alone".

Penn State and Auburn both play Sweet Caroline. I’m not sure if Penn State playing in at the Auburn White out game was a nod to Auburn or if it’s an anthem song for them? Auburn band plays it a lot and very well.
I’ve seen Ohio State play the other teams fight song as a show of respect after a close win in the horseshoe. That is cool.

Whenever I visit Chicago I make it a point to play this song a few times along with the Blues Brothers soundtrack. Makes the wind feel a little less biting…

I know it's got no words and it's owned lock stock and barrel by the NFL but has there ever been better music to get pumped up over ? This and the "Voice of God " John Facenda bring me back to the 70s when playoff games between the Steelers and the Raiders were kill or be killed wars ! I can't help myself .I was spoiled by the NFL of that time .
