What are the odds he ends up in the top 300 this time next year? Now that he picked us, I'd say a solid 25% or less!

Van smith, tucker israel, Zach giella, gage cervenka, and shadell bell were all ranked in their top 300 at some point and got dropped

Some of them wasn't even ranked before they committed to us. Clemson put a few on the board. Some recruits fall and some like Cain and Wilkins rise that's the way it is.

I'm not sure where this school of thought comes from as it's actually more common for recruits to be lifted in status upon committing to Clemson than lowered.

Further, you are not helping things by perpetuating this myth. Would a recruit be more or less likely to commit to a school when hear that they are going to lose stature by committing to that school?
