If he's saying Clemson should be ranked higher, its only to elicit stronger effort from our remaining competition....any sort of Clemson complement would be very self-serving

Petrino said what he said because it was simple common sense. He said it with an edge, too - sorry, but the man actually meant what he asked. Yes, it bears on Louisville's chances but only because of the obvious Big 10 and SEC bias shown in the very first week of the committee's work - which he might believe is revealing.

Compare the Clemson schedule to Alabubba's. What do you think, if strength of schedule is everything the committee insists it is? When I look at the SEC, I almost don't see a QB who could play in the ACC, lol.
