I actually spent some graduate time at ISU, they are good 'country folks' who like cold winters muchmore than I do.

There was an Iowa St guy on here the other day. He was talking about the drop off in running backs after the guy that opted out. Very pleasant and objective in his comments. Kind of reminded me of bretfsu.

they are extremely passionate and LOUD! at home football and basketball games but it isn't their style to get into online debates and name-calling with other fan bases.
Um, except for with Hawkeyes fans. As a B1G alumnus, anyone who loves making fun of Iowa Hawkeyes fans is all right with me.

From my experience (which is limited to one couple from Jessup, Iowa) they are very nice folks and serious fans of the Cyclones. All good. Us cow colleges have to stick together.
