Just forfeit it if need be and don't give them the satisfaction.The politically correct Coach K has already decided in his infinite wisdom that he knows better than anyone. This is a total JOKE ! This variant is easily transmitted but nothing more than a common cold in it's effect. Just don't go to Durham on January 25 until a return date to Clemson is given first.

Adults in charge of college athletes do not react like that thank goodness. If there is any school in the nation that knows what COVID can and cannot do it is Duke. Take a minute and look up the ratings of Duke University and Duke Medical Center and you will realize that nobody at Duke cares what anyone thinks about them or what decisions they make.

My otherwise healthy neighbor ( 29 yo female with no underlying health issues and in gym shape) is on a ventilator in Atlanta for the 5th day.
I'm not completely sure common colds can have that effect , but then again I'm just not that well read.

I'm very sorry and wish her the very best. I have read articles however that this latest variant is 73% of total cases and it is not nearly as serious as the other variants or the original. You will find this to be true of almost any report you may read. The NFL is not cancelling. And btw I'm actually in favor of vaccine and booster mandates for anyone on a team in any sport. If you are part of a team you are part of something bigger than yourself and you should adhere to what is best for all.
