Proud (and thankful) of my son......

We don't have the same music tastes, but I can honestly say I am REALLY proud of this music video my son put together. He is a student at the Art Institute of Charleston, and this new artist is a student at the College of Charleston. This was totally filmed in downtown Charleston. Note the College of Charleston choir and the church.

But your son was supposed to be a 4th generation
Tiger. Might could have done something similar
at the Brooks Center. But College of Charleston
is a great school.

I had to serve on a jury that put a young black man in prison for life + 10 for felony malice murder of another black man. Tragic all the way around. Afterwards, we got to speak with the prosecutors and the defense and ask questions. The defendant had no chance in life. It is clear his parents failed him so badly, starting at age 6, that they should be doing time too.
Knowing people are suffering and kids especially, when they should never have to endure that hell, really bothers me to my core.
I hope your son continues to advocate through his art and will find a way to reach not only the lost and suffering souls, but also inspire those who are living comfortably to sacrifice some time and $ to try and get involved and save an innocent and struggling child. It helps everyone to know others are aware and care.

Many years ago I told my grandmother how proud I was of my children. She said, "Don't be proud be thankful." A woman of great faith who knew where all good things come from. l'll never forget.
