Dude is unathletic and had an NFL OL and WR corps to lean on.
Go look at the NFL QBs in Canton OH. Most either came from small schools or had unheralded OLs and WRs. You will rarely find one that had high draft picks around him at those positions.
These scouts have all drunk the SEC Koolaid.

I’m not buying into Mac Jones! At best, he is a “Game Manager”. His Skillset does NOT come close to justifying a Top 5 pick in the Draft!!!!

I've paid very little attention to Mac Jones or Alabama football except when we played them. The only play of his I can recall is when Nyles Pinckney treated him like a rag doll on that laughable fake field goal. So based on that one play, I'd say no.

There have been 15 Bama QBs drafted over the years.

Exactly two of them have had noteworthy careers. For now, you can exclude Tua, his story is yet to be written, but, already, there is wavering about his status with the Fins.
You have to go a REALLY long way back to find the two who made it big.
Joe Namath retired in 1977.
Ken Stabler retired in 1984.
Mac Jones does not have NEAR the talent level of a Namath, a Stabler, or even a Tua. Not even an A.J. McCarron, who is the most recent Bama QB I can think of who actually started a couple games other than Tua.

You just answered your own question. He will be playing with a real life NFL line, receivers and backs. Stats don't lie. By the way, remember when most on TigerNet didn't believe Joe Burrow didn't deserve the Heisman or to be drafted high?

Just goofballs like Charley Casserly, Daniel Jeremiah and Mel Kiper. Yes Mac Jones had a great senior season but we are talking NFL. He has no athletic skills, no mobility and looks like a younger version Icahabod Crane. He may have a decent NFL career as a journeyman QB but a 1st round? Makes no sense to me, but hey what d do I know? If he is drafted in the 1st it just proves the old saying...There a sucker born every minute (and plenty are NFL GM's).
