Does anyone like in conference transfers?

I know Clemson wbb benefited from it today with the Syracuse guard joining us but somehow it just doesn’t feel right in general.

Like imagine if Propser went to Georgia Tech or something. A direct competitor.

We are in the era of letting student athletes do whatever they want, but i like some things should be kept in tact.

The football fan in me agrees with that whole heartedly. The human side of me thinks it shouldn't matter. These kids only have a handful of years to try and make a name for themselves, who cares where they go. Also see it as, if they couldn't make it here, I don't see them as a threat. Strictly speaking from a football perspective of course.

Personally, I don't care. Transfers are transfers but I rather them go to State than go Coot

I've heard the example given that if students who are non-athletes can easily transfer elsewhere, why shouldn't athletes be able to?

My answer is because student-athletes who play a sport like football or basketball are on a full ride, which includes free education, free healthcare, free meals, free housing, etc. The university has made a significant investment in them. It's not like a regular student paying his or her own way. Apples and oranges IMO.
