Does A&M & Bama drop?

The Aggies lost at home to the SBC runner up last season!
Bama got lucky and beat Texas. Yes, it was on the road; but Texas wasn't ranked, right?
Had Clemson lost at home to a G5 school at #6 - I think they drop the Tigers all the way out the top 25.
When Clemson was #1 and won a squeeker to an unranked opponent - they dropped us!
We'll see if it's ACC bias or if they are using "past years success to grade this years teams and give them the benefit of the doubt"!

Texas a and m should drop by a good bit. Alabama maybe not much because media will play up Texas but I’m sure Georgia will pass them and maybe even Michigan

Maybe they didn't set the 1H on fire but they were up 30-0 at halftime and then emptied the bench in the 2H. You kind of expect some letdown against Sanford after a big emotional game with Oregon the week before.

What's crazy is when the playoffs start early season losses won't mean as much. HOw you are playing late in the season + where you are ranked will matter more in order to get a chance.
But, I think everybody is right about Georgia.
***Note: This should be a cautionary tale about anointing teams after 1 week. IT should also be a cautionary tale about burying teams after one week!
All of these teams including ours are subject to getting better or worse throughout the season(key injuries, freshmen start to get it, schemes are figured out, new starters get seasoned, etc.).
Long season: buckle up.

I think early season losses do kind of matter when only 4 teams get in the playoffs and no 2-loss team has ever gotten into the playoffs.

A&M def drops but will be interesting how they handle an undefeated UNC team who beat App at their place…Bama will drop to #2 but that’s it…I would love to see them put Mich in front of them though…lololol!!! What a crock of crap!!!
