Hope they do. It will increase credibility and make Clemson's chances for future CFP final 4's path easier !!

If they want to better their chances to the CFP they will. Since no conference championship for them this weekend, they’re only left to hope several other teams lose to get in.

Then they can think long and hard about the "what if"...what if they were in the ACC this year, and with us having a down year, they could've won the ACC CG and been in the playoff!

They have put that decision off until January now. It is still 4 teams for now.

The CFP gives Notre Dame its own seat at the table, along with the conference commissioners. BTW, there is still no decision on expansion as of today.
