Like him or not you have to respect what his career amounted to .
He has more total wins than anyone in American sports history ... regardless of the sport. That's a game ender body-slam in a 1-up conversation right there.

Dug got it right. Nothing to do with liking or disliking the man but it’s respect, and probably a record that will never be matched. Just like Wilhelm, both deserved a CWS title.

God no. He personally killed baseball for me this year by knocking my other two schools out of the regionals. I wish the guy an awful retirement.
