Do we have a chance to beat the gamecocks this year? You know they play in the mighty SEC. They face Georgia, Alabama, and LSU week in and week out. I mean who do we play? Wake Forest? The ACC is like division III compared to the superior SEC. We play high school teams while the gamecocks play minor league NFL teams. I am really worried we might get blown out this year. They have this cool catchy saying SPURS UP. That could really intimidate our players. I wish we had something like that but I guess we'll never achieve the success the gamecocks have. Oh, did I mention they play in the SEC? I'm scared to face them.

I can’t even tell if this is satire or a troll… they make fun of the coots (likely on accident) as much as they put down the ACC… funny enough, nothing bad about our tigers.

How anybody could read this and call you a coot is beyond me.
If you posted this on a coot board and changed it just a little saying, "The Tigers don't have a chance this year. I'm not scared. We play in the SEC...." I would understand some of the more intelligent posters (I assume they have 1 or 2) would recognize it as a troll.
But, I can't believe anyone on this board would read your post and not be able to tell the difference between trolling and satire. (If I could I'd give you two thumbs up for every thumb down you got.)

Some of the guys on here have just gotten used to calling any new guy a coot. It's not cool or funny, but it's what they do. I just ignore their "coot" poasts and make up my own mind. It also costs Tigernet in potential dollars.

You’re a TNet newbie, you tried to make a good impression with a first post and you got spanked. My advice and I’m often wrong, is to comment positively on the post of others, thumbs up more than you reply, and don’t use satire as we can be a prickly bunch that jumps to the defense of our Tigers, sometimes without pausing to properly evaluate your intent. Stick with us, unless your a cootish troll then go away.
