Do the coots seriously think they’re developing a Dabo?

Sep 29, 2022, 8:39 PM

Seriously? Beamer seems like a good guy, but good manners won’t allow for me saying what I really think about his ability or smarts.

When pigs fly and rocks float or maybe when hadies has cold water. I mean, it's totally possible.

my professor in freshman history class and my hot, Nebraska, wife who had my six children, I would not have make A's in every English class. Don't equate spelling with intelligence. I did 42 semester hours of senior level work in six months via 24 hrs Spring of '88 and two 9 hr/6 wk summer sessions.

I drifted through school until I quit to pursue pot and girls without opening a book. I took the GED test 5+ times, once for my diploma and the other times for those who needed a diploma to work on the local police force, fire department and ambulance drivers, as was called back in the 1960.

I had four children when I enrolled in Clemson's Building Science program in the fall of 1985 and five when I graduated in Aug of '88.

I didn't realize Beamer was such a goober until this year. How has Tanner not been run out of town at this point? Smells like bureaucracy, corruption, and doo doo ice.

I have no idea if young Beamer will be ok or great but it’s too early to tell. Half of our fans wanted Dabo fired early on so it’s not so easy to judge 1.5 years into a total rebuild.

Yeah they were sitting there with Spurrier when Dabo started and were probably saying the same thing then about Clemson.

It's too early to say what Beamer can or will do with the coots. You gotta remember, they are a historically awful football program and they were already bad when Muschamp was coaching. Beamer took over an absolute dumpster fire. I think he needs to clean house with his coaches though. They don't lack talent believe it or not. They have talented players all over their roster (not Clemson level, but more along the lines of Tennessee level). I don't think Baby Beamer is a bad coach, I just think it's his entire staff that is holding him back. Their off season will tell the tale of what's in store for them.

Makes me glad to be a Tiger.

I wonder if for the GA game Muschamp dropped by his former players and showed them his National Championship ring.

Probably hard to attract the best coaches to a historically bad program with an inexperienced coach

He really seems like a good guy. But not sure he brings the energy that Dabo brings. Plus, a lot of it is coordinators. We brought in Chad and Brent who transformed the program. Not sure you can do that in cooterville with all of the hands that mess with the cachs.

Yes, i'm a 12 year old. I would never pass up a chance at a weener joke, even if its a bad one.

They are in for a long season. Might only be 4 wins.

Re: Do the coots seriously think they’re developing a Dabo?

Sep 30, 2022, 1:12 PM

I think they beat Vandy, possibly Missouri and do their thing where they beat 1 other team they weren't expected to beat. I could see that win being either Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, or A&M. The difference in 5 and 6 wins for them will come down to being able to beat Missouri and beat 1 of the other teams I just mentioned.

Kentucky, UF, and Tenn will beat the cooots by 24+ points. They look as bad as they have in a while.

Beamer grew up too privileged to be like Dabo. Dabo worked for everything he got unlike the nepotism that aided Beamer.

Up until the point he ran Antonio Williams out of their practice facility during the 7 on 7 high school tournament, I was kind of pulling for him. Now I can sit back and laugh at the implosion underway.

They want a Dabo

Sep 30, 2022, 1:05 PM

but they've got to realize they have to make it through a Tommy Bowden (coaches kid) first.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If Beamer accomplishes half of what Tommy B did at Clemson

Sep 30, 2022, 2:52 PM

they'll never get rid of him. It would be beyond their wildest expectations.

Beamer could be a great coach in Tennessee or Arky. Sackerlina is just not a place to develop a resume and it’s known to be where coaches go to die

I don't doubt his abilities. USC won't be a power until they spend some major money on football. Even if they do that, they still find a way to screw it up.
