Miami's way-too-high preseason ranking ought to have him at the top.
DJ's best shot will be next year, but screw the Heisman. As Clemson fans, we certainly know it's screwed us.

Lets see, I think he can get back into the top 10 if he throws for 500 and 5 TD's, runs for 3 more and makes 20 tackles on defense, and kicking a few fg's wouldn't hurt either. Now for real lets just hope he gets past the shaky start and starts being the big strong armed gun slinger we all hoped he would be. We can worry (or not) about his Heisman candidacy at the end of the year.

Geez. Let's see, Trevor never won the award nor did Travis so the chances of DJ winning are somewhere between slim and none. And after that start it doesn't really matter what he does from here. He shouldn't even be starting.

Well that is tough. He needed to have that moment in the Georgia game.
The good news is there arent a ton of obvious leaders but he would have to start putting up crazy numbers and have no one else show up.

every game from here on out, and have everybody else in the country look like crap for at least two games.
And have people lose their memory of how he performed in the first two games, particularly Georgia.
We have had two consecutive QBs generate Heisman worthy seasons, and that didn't do it. So, realistically, at least for this season, DJ has no shot.
