DJ Shines and throws shade on Streeter?

What happens to Streeter if DJ shines at his next stop? Is there even more pressure and scrutiny on him?

I think it's more so they want to play for the program that Coach Swinney has created. I'd be hesitant to give Streeter that much credit. Other than DW4 and TL16, who were can't miss players, he really has done much when it comes to developing talent. Let's just remember...Cade has only really played in 1 game and has a meaningless bowl game next. Let's give him a full season under Streeter before we claim he is a QB guru.

Oh, that's right, I forgot....it's a playoff game. Thinking any bowl game outside the CFB playoff is significant is the real B.S..and if you believe this year's Orange Bowl is a playoff game, you're even more delusional. The Rose Bowl kept thinking they were the Grandaddy of all bowl games, but you see, they gave in and became a part of the CFB playoff system. College football has changed Goober.....in the postseason, it's all about the CFB.....get used to it.

Don't get me wrong. I still am not sold on Streeter, but you forget that Kelly Bryant led us to a #1 seed in the playoffs in between. A bad game where Alabama destroyed us on the line of scrimmage does not diminish the season that Kelly Bryant had in 2017.

We signed Tajh and Deshaun before Streeter joined the staff. Deshaun hired an outside coach and refused to work with him. At the time Trevor committed, the only QBs Streeter had coached were Kelly Bryant and Hunter Johnson. But yeah, they're signing to be coached by Streeter.

doophus.
All great QB's go to the QB gurus in the off season. From here, Boyd, Watson, Trevor all went outside. So did DJ for that matter. I'm sure Cade will as well, and Vizzinia. It's common practice

If DJ shines somehow elsewhere after dragging the program down here, you better believe it will make Dabo and Streeter look awful and hurt recruiting. I wish I lived in a world where everything was exactly like I wanted it to be like Striper. Your delusion and positive for the sake of positive makes you hard to take seriously.

Nice. Coot? That’s a new one. I haven’t been on here in a little while, are you still trying to convince people the staff was right about playing DJ? Never will forget how you and some others face planted with your arguments and acted almost salty that our own guy, Cade, was great in the UNC game. My god you were soooo wrong.

What if he wins the Heisman?

Man, that would really make Clemson and Streeter, in particular, look incompetent. I think you’re onto to something we really need to be concerned about. All of us.
Especially since Clemson’s never had a Heisman winner, even though we had Heisman as a coach. ESPN will never let that go and will use it constantly to negativity recruit against Clemson. That just pisses me off.

Never going to shine at QB. I wonder if he can tackle? Be a fine bookend with his brother.

It will be just as bad as it was for Ohio State’s offensive coordinator when Joe Burrow transferred to LSU and shined. I’m pretty sure that coach was never heard from again. Does anyone know what Ryan Day is doing these days?

Yep and that Justin fields sure made Kirby smart look dumb. All he can get now is Stetson bennett’s.

Would it be the same as Morris struggling with Cole Stoudt while Streeter w/ Scott and Elliot made him look like a straight baller?

What DJ does elsewhere next year has zero to do with Streeter. What Cade does next year will have an impact on Streeter but has nothing to do with DJ

"What happens to Streeter if DJ shines at his next stop?"
Absolutely nothing outside of TNET.
Joe Burrow left OSU and lit it up at LSU. OSU kept rolling without caring.
Justin Fields left GA and lit it up at OSU. GA kept rolling without caring.
Different talents and mindsets work better in different schemes in different contexts. If he does good it says more about the program he is going to than the one he came from. His success or lack thereof will have no bearing on the Clemson staff.

Many of us forget what Burrow looked like his junior year. Much like Kenny Pickett, he could not complete a forward pass, but was tough and willing runner. Then the next year came along coach Brady and some receivers that would be fist round draft choices.
