defense and making the adjustments. He decides presnap what he is going to do regardless of the defense. He also is not a leader...team does not respond to him.

I didn't notice any of this last year, and I think he's actually capable, but has "regressed" or maybe dealing with something where his head just isn't in football, but he stares down receivers worse than any QB I think I've ever seen. It's horrible. There's no read progressions at all. That's not on the OL. They're horrible too, but staring a receiver down for 3 seconds is on you. I generally agree with you on the leadership part. It's like he is too calm. Almost Jay Cutler like disinterested. The only real emotion or fight I've seen him have is when he runs the ball a bunch in a row. Other than that it's just like he's indifferent.

The receivers are also not helping. Ross dropping balls, going to Ngata on EVERY freaking meaningful down. Throw it to Ajou or Ladson or someone dude. Think they know Ngatas name by now.

because that guy's always hurt for one reason or another it seems. He must be made of glass.

and make a quick decision - just doesn't have the mental sharpness for the QB position like TL and DW had. Those guys took charge of games and led the team - DJ had no ability to.

this guy has got the tools but it's what is head scratching is his development. That folks, isn't all on him either.

I would like to see how the team responds if the coaches put in TP for at least a series. Will the team respond differently?
