DJ Reader

Sep 3, 2012, 11:41 AM

Man it was good to see DJ get some action at DT. He looked good.

We might be in pretty darn good shape at DT if DJ Reader is getting playing time over our highly regarded recruit in Carlos Watkins.

Both need to come on and bring it now.***

for the defense to get to the next level. We need Reader and Watkins to conribute this tear and hopefully we can add one more great one to Pagano for next year's class.

Watkins and Reader are already bigger than the guys in front of them. Very excited about DJ. His HS film was incredible. Don't know why he wasn't highly rated

I've been a Reader fan since I first saw his highlight reel during his recruitment. I totally agree, he is underrated for sure. Just watch his film... Fast as H3ll for a 300 pounder and super strong!

This kid is gonna be a major factor on our Dline this year!

holding more. I only recall one at the 13:29 mark in the 4th quarter.

Yeah they got away with a lot of holding in that game, especially against our ends. I think the D-LINE played well the Dts demanded double teams and the ends were getting held. We should see a difference this week since we know what Ball St. likes to do,so our LBs can play more downhill and aggressive.

When I watched the replay of the game on TV yesterday I paid more attention to the younger guys and he definitely stood out. On one play in particular he came off the ball, read where the ball was while engaged, and then just manhandled Auburn's OL to get there. His potential is through the roof.
