Have clearly caught Dabo or TE cheating on their wives or something. Nothing else makes sense. I'm at the game and I've never heard the fans booing a Clemson QB like this.

Regardless of how poorly a player is performing, it’s an absolute classless move to boo any player wearing a tiger paw.

Disagree! As a player, when you start getting paid you are no longer subject to the same old awe shucks he is just kid BS! Performance is now the name of the game. Man up or move on!!

I agree. I will voice my opinion but I will never boo or hope a tiger player does poorly.

Agreed. Unfortunately that extends to this message board as well with fans rooting against us just to see a player get benched.

You think there is language in the Dr. Pepper contract that states DJ receives X amount of time on the field? I can't think of any other reason.

If that was the case, then Dabo either needs to know the contract if he doesn’t, or not allow players to sign contracts that the coaches can’t review. Or, just not allow NIL deal for players until their junior year. Wish Dabo could just deny players the ability to get an NIL but we’d lose recruits that way, and it also wouldn’t be allowed

If thats your best option you have failed miserably at recruiting the position. Luckily the real truth is, TP is hurt and THAT is why 5 still plays.

He has a package of plays and gets a drive every now and again (with mixed results at best).
I also disagree that the coaches have just whiffed in recruiting. We've lost capable QBs to the transfer portal, and I am hard pressed to call DJ a whiff. We've seen him play well in extended opportunities last year. Whether his family situation put him on tilt mentally or he's getting crappy coaching I just don't think he's forgotten how to play QB in a year.
