I know we wanted to give Pace some carries, but Mafah disappeared from that game. Did he get hurt? Or make some big mistake that I overlooked?

We just weren't effective running up the middle.

Thought here…

So looking at Trent Simpson’s eye popping numbers and Barrett Carter solid game, idk but how about we keep them playing these linebacker spots?

22 looked like he did last year finally.?

The offense, including the play calling should have been broken down in half's because it was completely different. First half. - A (many were asking “Wheres this offense been all season?”) Second half - D. Back to what we’ve seen.

First of all I will confess that I have said positive and negative things about DJ's play at QB, but a hater I am not. Going into last season, after the depart of TL16, I told everyone I knew that I felt great about our QB situation based on DJ's freshman starts. I think highly of DJ, his character, and his attitude. I could learn a lot from DJ...lol Not that I am an expert, but I personally feel like his place (especially if he wants an NFL career) is at TE. I don't think an NFL team will draft him at QB at this point and would like to see him continue playing at the next level. Just my 2 cents...

That being said DJ has definitely been on an upswing the past two games... turnovers in the third quarter are still concerning. Against Miami it slowed down putting the game away. Against UGA in a playoff game that might be enough to change the outcome of the game.

I agree 100 %, I've said this before, DJU will not make it in the NFL as a QB. A TE could maybe work for him. He can make some good moves when he does run, but He's not that fast. ?? The reason he's looked much better the last 2 games is because the last 2 teams don't have the caliber of athletes Clemson has.
Dabo missed his chance to get Cade in early last week and get him some good experience. Cade has everything that DJ doesn't!! Scramble ability, think on his feet, creativity when the play breaks down!! He's an accurate passer and can throw the long ball, if WRU would run some long routes ?? and the reason for no deep routes is because DJ cant throw an accurate long ball!!! Cade is a well rounded QB that just needs playing time. DJ is a great team player and cheerleader, but I wouldn't put my money on a QB that has to find his confidence each and every game. That alone scares the Hell out of me.. lol
Eat mor Chikin. Go Tigers!!

Why not? Brandon deliberately only put DJ's rushing grade, not his passing or overall grade, on this report.

No dj hater but he had no business being on the field past the first series of the 2nd half. Total head scratcher and Dabo just grinned and acted like in his press conference that we were able to get our "2"s in the game and get experience.. really? All of the last 3 minutes of the game. The game was decided at half.

Why didn't the media call out Dabo for continuously saying we want to get cade in there and get him meaningful snaps??? Couldn't have asked for a better game than this one for him to come in early.

Also, why are we not targeting Randall more? The kid needs some reps. Also send mafah out on more routes. Love spector but he's gone after this year. He can't go up and ###### the ball... even if it was a wobbly duck.

Cade completed 100% with 10 YPC but had lower grade than DJ?

Nov 21, 2022, 1:21 PM

I know that it was a limited data-set so it's not statistically significant, but I don't understand how PFF graded Cade slightly lower than DJ.
Cade completed 2/2 (100%) and ran 2-for-20 (10 YPC) with 0 interceptions and 0 fumbles.
DJ completed 23/34 (68%) and ran 17-for-89 (5.2 YPC) with 1 interception and 1 fumble.
