DJ / Matt Campbell postgame

Did anyone else notice them talking? It looked like Campbell was actually coaching / encouraging him. Just made me wonder if Matt sees the potential and was trying to help him through a mental barrier of some type. I could be way off but it sure looked like he was trying to help.

It was a nice gesture, especially since his team had just lost the game. Campbell seems to be a genuinely nice guy and someone that players want to have as their coach...

I noticed it as well. I figured they just knew each other. I doubt he was offering DJ a starting spot if he hits the portal.

Yep. Thought that was cool. Hopefully, he was saying don't play scared. Step in the pocket and make a throw. Things like that. Hopefully, he wasn't saying, if things don't work out our QB is gone after this game. I think it was the former. If we didn't have Dabo, would love to have Campbell.

I saw that too.
I thought that if DJU was to enter the portal........

I did see some improvement today ...,
It has been small steps but he is working at it.
IMO.
