is jumping on him. Now, LeBron James is a very arrogant and extremely ignorant person, but he does have a platform.
I think people are jealous of Dabo and his Christian faith and I think there is a southern bias.
ANY opportunity to bash him people will take.
As a Georgia fan, I greatly admire Dabo.
Clemson and Dabo are not WOKE enough. That makes me like Dabo and Clemson more.

This is exactly it. It's why trash talk before a game is so stupid. Don't run your mouth because anything can happen in any game.
They even ripped on Dabo during today's Kansas-Texas basketball game. Hopefully Dabo learns from this and keeps his mouth shut in the future.

people do not like Christians for a simple reason: it reflects back on themselves that they are not living up to a standard they want to be judged on. This is a misconception, but still, people pretty much only think about themselves (read all social media for proof). When they see Dabo, they think "he thinks he's better than me because he's a good Christian!" Again, this is a misconception, but it's how they think.
For Lebron, he thinks "I can do whatever I want without judgement!" He thinks being Christian means being judged, so he rejects it as it would make him think his bad behavior was wrong. All about the self. That's the world, all about me!

Agreed! Ghandi said it best, the Jesus character I like and agree with, it’s his followers I distrust. I don’t cheat, steal, screw men’s wives, mistreat my wife or treat people who wish me no harm with harm, Therefore I don’t need saving. Christians are always Claiming persecution by unbelievers. The facts are that this entire country was established by Christians fleeing persecution by other Christians. So much so that they couldn’t even live together over here. In fact there isn’t a single state formed by reasonable secularists. Catholics had to form Maryland to escape the Protestants in Massachusetts and Delaware, the Quaker’s fled and established Pennsylvania to escape the others. The Episcopalians of the South Carolina coastline pushed the Baptist amd other Protestant groups inland to the upstate. Mormons fled all the way to Utah to get as far away from the rest of you that they could get. since Nero and some made up story about lions, Christians have been claiming persecution when in fact as soon as Constantine made Christianity the official Roman religion and the shoe was on the other foot, they have been shoving that shoe firmly up the butt of “unbelievers” both inner faith and non faith. It’s a tired old schtick that has created the likes of Lebron James. Believe what you will, please leave it out of football and politics unless you want people like myself pointing out the obvious to you!

It’s frustrating to see all the Christian segmentation built around an attempt to monopolize heaven or claim a superior expression of faith. It’s so easy to become prideful and forget why we attend church. That being said, I’m not sure this isn’t a human problem, not just a Christian problem.

Well, that is exactly what Thomas Jefferson and other secularist sought to remedy through the constitutional ideal of equality and separation of the Church from the state. It amazes me to see people fight to keep it in the mix. Just have whatever belief, whatever “medicine” you will without claiming persecution at the drop of the hat and we can all get along just fine!

Do you remember when espn turned the cameras off when he praised the Lord after a win, he does get bashed for his faith. Dabo also makes the mistake sometimes of talking to much. I would have never voted Osu 11th before I played them or any other time. As for L James I have never seen him play anc never will see him play and could careless what he thinks of our head coach. I'm sure that Judge is well aware that there are people that feel that way about Dabo. It doesn't bother me, I doubt it bothers Judge, and I am sure that it is not going to bother Dabo.
As a Christian I would hope that everyone would accept Christ, but it is each person's personal decision. If it is not for you, that in itself, would not affect me being friends with someone. I think there have been many great people who looked to other religions or none at all. Their faith has little to do with what I think of them as a person. I believe that they are making a mistake in the grand scheme of things but that has to do with my faith.
Faith is an odd thing. It requires you to make an assumption often due to something that you can't put a finger on. I have made that leap, but since I can't put a finger on the exact reason, I understand others not comfortable with doing the same.
I really don't understand so many people taking offense to what Bulldog said. I would not classify it as jealousy, but I do think that many are offended by Dabo's faith. I cannot think of a time when he was a critic of someone that didn't hold his beliefs. They just don't like that he is outspoken about his beliefs. I don't like Bulldog's choice of football teams, but why should I have feelings about him in any other regard? In that respect maybe you can explain why someone should be offended by Dabo rather than just disagreeing with him.

LeBron James is just mad he never got the opportunity to go to a great college, actually be coached, and learn how to be a real man. His greatest legacy to all sports was teaching youngsters like Jake Bentley how to flop like a fish after someone breathed on him. LeBron has always been the second best player on all his championship teams and sadly doesn't know it. At some point you just feel sorry for the guy and anyone who props him up. Also, if he loves Ohio so much why does he keep moving away?????
