Virginia Tech's Logan Thomas has a gruesome 1.9 Total QBR, the worst (through Saturday's games) of any FBS quarterback (he was 5-of-26 for 59 yards and one interception). In his defense, Va Tech's receivers were equally dreadful against Alabama.

I just can imagine how bad the backups there are that no one else getsa chance. were I a VT alum I'd be very unhappy w Beamer for this multi year debacle

agreed. Beamer must either be dumb as a bag of rocks to think that LT is a good QB - or he simply has NOBODY ELSE to run his O. But - did he bother to recruit anyone at that position? He could have landed a better QB without too much effort - yet here we are and LT still sucks. Even Heather Dimmich has figured that out.

poor recruiting and turnover on the Offensive staff has definitely hurt the Hokies, But I do not think for one second Beamer has packed it up. It took Clemson a couple of years to recover from Mike O'Cain as I recall.
