Did y'all notice how well Ennis blocked when he came in?

I thought he did a great job. He also ran a route in the flat that was covered,and he worked back to the inside and caught a big pass comimg off our own goal line. I would play 84 and 87 from here on out.

Thought the tight end play was much better when Galloway went out. Also thought the WRs blocked much better.

Is when he’s dropping easy passes. His catch in the playoffs is the only highlight that sticks out.

I agree but his staff seems to be reluctant to replace anyone. Although our O-line looked better with people in different positions, my bet is they will plug the same people back in.

That’s one of the things that’s still so frustrating. If the guys on the field are not getting it done try someone else for a few plays. If someone pouts and quits the team over being benched for 2-3 series then they don’t need to be playing anyway. If it wouldn’t have been for a injury and a targeting Ennis would have never seen the field. And we would have watched 88 watch the play as defenders go by him without even thinking about blocking one of them and giving up on passes because the catch was going to require effort. I think a bunch of these guys must have been guilt tripped into coming back this year or thought they could get NIL money and party all year since they’ve graduated because some of them look like they would rather be anywhere else and 88 is one of them.

He wiffed on the blocked punt though. Might need for the second team guy to get more practice there.

Definitely impressed with Ennis. He and Allen should get the most PT. Would use Lay occasionally to block. Will be surprised if TE quits giving 88, who appears to have the mindset of a WR, significant playing time.

Sage this summer so it was great to see him in the game. I too thought he was an upgrade and I hope he gets more PT as a result.
