To ensure the conservative voters that Trump pushed out continue to either not vote or split their votes between Democrats and third parties.

Endorsements in deep red states don't matter. The ones in purple states do.

We agree that the DADDY cult is alive and well. I hear he's writing a book about "the crime of the century." Do you honestly believe the election was stolen, or is he full of crap?

I didn't vote Trump in 2020 and I have no regrets about it whatsoever. I know many, many more folks that feel the same way I do as well. DeSantis is not the way back to my vote.

Is the inverse true? You are happy you voted for Biden and have no regrets? If that is true, you are quite an individual.

Desantis is a natural communicator. He is very good, and very effective, at putting out ideas without the typical slapstick rhetoric you see from numbskulls like MTG, Gaetz, etc.
If Desantis can tone down the populism after gets through the primary, he has outstanding potential to be one of the presidential greats. And more lasting, get the GOP back on messaging, and not just emotion.

I can see the dude that asked the question shrinking and shrinking more with every sentence DeSantis utters until he just poofed away in a small cloud of poof dust.

I think he panders too much, but I could/would easily vote for him next go around.
If he challenges Trump in a primary, I'll be putting up signs and campaigning for him.

this is for you, xtiger, and everybody else on this board who says "I don't know a thing about Qanon and only ever hear about it from you liberals!" HERE is how that lunacy becomes mainstream. Thomas's wife, ~163 candidates at state and federal levels, and people like this appointee.

Oh, and here's the FL Surgeon General he appointed last year.

For as "smart" and educated as DeSantis allegedly is, he sure makes some smooth-brained choices for his administration. I'm sure you'll claim it's "no big deal", so, please, proceed to defend any of this.

Who do you see at the top of the ticket?

I'm still betting the house on Desantis/Haley. And if Desantis gives her some latitude on foreign affairs and sees her as an asset than undermining his space, it could make for a powerful duo. Then eight years later, it's Haley's turn and the GOP occupies the White House for another eight years.
2024 is going to be a talent fest for the GOP, but I'd much rather see them than Pompeo or Cotton (vomit). I don't know what Tim Scott is planning on doing but I suspect if Haley runs he'll sit out.
