What's crazy is the number of kids who are in the transfer portal " with nowhere to go"! Bet on yourself is something I agree with. But, you must evaluate your worth without your heart!

That said, "be nice if asking the TP for a specific actually worked"!!!

Maybe ask it; plus click your "Chuck Taylors 3 times and exclaim: there's no place like Clemson, there's no place like Clemson, there's no place like Clemson"! < - - - - - trying to be funny; but showing my age as that is a little Wizard Of OZ reference(google it).

We need a healthy spring for sure in all positions: but an extra emphasis on OL and WR! The football gods need to grant us that for sure. As you said, "we have been good"!

Don't know much about the portal but a transfer can't enroll mid semester which means he cannot participate in Spring practice. Is that correct ? Would have to enroll in summer school ?

No, they will not shed their best players. However, they will shed players that are better than most in the transfer portal. A serviceable OLineman would help the cause of keeping DJ/other QBs upright and not rushed this season.

With low numbers on the OL, we oughta just run our offense out of that pods formation we used to use. lol. Then we would only need three offensive linemen on the field. Put a couple of tight ends in as tackles and slide them out to the edge to block for the wide receivers on quick passes. It'll be tough running up the middle, but the backs oughta be able to get a few yards on their own without much blocking, no different than last year.
