I hope both get drafted in the first round. But did you honestly believed that Green was ready for the draft right after the season?
Green obviously vaulted himself through his measurables and not by the play on the field.

Also, his measurables didn't change during the draft process. We knew he'd test well when he chose to come out.

Was I the only one to think Green wasn't ready? Pretty sure Dabo would have preferred for Green to stay another year.

Well, it's proven the NFL takes alot of chances on kids that are not ready.
I still think Gallman should have entered the draft and Green should have stayed.

That's not the point though is it? He clearly stated that "Green will not get drafted."
I simply asked if he still believed that to be true. He then proceeded to make an excuse which was a lie and still hasn't answered the very simple question.

Gallman could have. I think one more year could move him up to a late first round pick. I also think Dodd, Lawson, Alexander, Kearse and Green should have stayed. That would have been one heck of a defense.

I'm sure Dabo would prefer for every player to come back for another year.
But it's hard to blame you for that opinion. It's hard to see what the NFL coaches see in Green to take him in the first or second. His play on the field certainly didn't show it.

Agree 100%, to only have a couple of seasons under your belt as a Safety he played at a relatively high level for us.
NFL guys will definitely expect to build on that foundation and his ceiling is enormous.

BTW - what does it say about the Clemson coaches to have wanted to move Green to SAF from WR in the first place? Given how well that input went from them, I think he would have done well to have continued to listen to them.
There's only one reason TJ is moving into the 2nd round - 4.33.
Seriously; good luck to him - I hope the "draft position" translates into an equally successful "career" -
which is really what this is all about anyway.

I certainly thought he would have a significantly greater chance of going undrafted than to go in the first round. It's great for him that it seems to have worked out, but I felt like even with his measurables he would be a late round at best guy. Jayron, on the other hand, is in a tail spin. I thought he would test great and get drafted 3rd or 4th round at worst. Sad for him. Hope they both get in situations that allow them to thrive in the league. I also agree that the grudge seems deep for he OP.
