Debate: If Brock Bowers had come to Clemson, UGA doesn’t win CFP

I’ve read that Bowers wanted to come to Clemson but we “didn’t have room.”
I say switching Bowers flips the result of Clemson v UGA and UGA misses the playoff.
What say you?

Clemson would not have started him.
Clemson prefers playing 7 year 2/3 stars over first year 4/5 stars.

B.Bowers is a great player (duhhh on me).
But for him to have been the difference maker for us in the 2021 season opener? Nah, couldn't see that. B.Bowers' great play wasn't so manifestly evident for UGA in game 1.
Had it been game 4 and Bowers had been with us, then he might have improved our chances of beating UGA IF one big injury to our team hadn't happened yet.
I'd give it a 20% better chance for us to have beaten UGA with B.Bowers on our team (if it was ~ game 4 instead of game 1 ... and if B.Bresee wasn't out with injury).
B.Bresee is that good.

Bowers is a great player and caught 6 passes that night but

for only 43 yards. Checking the boxscore, Ngata caught 6 passes for 110 yards that night.
So, no, it wouldn't have been any difference.

Interesting question. Bowers was the best true freshman I saw play last year and was UGAs best offensive player. But no, I don’t think he would have made a difference in that game. While he did have at least one key play against us as I remember, he wasn’t the difference.

Brock is exactly the type of player that Clemson needs to use in their gameplan to take the pressure off of both the running and passing game. IDK if we have that kind a talent in our TE room, but it would be awesome if Streeter makes them relevant again.

If Clemson had Bowers, they beat UGA and go on to win Natty. UGA plays in the Peach Bowl and gets beat because the 15 draft picks opt out.
