The screens would be fine if we pass down field better and more often.

Wrong the screens would work better if we ran the ball better between the tackles.

Maybe, but they still could bring everyobe up like they did with Kelly Bryant. You have to stretch the field for the screens to work more often.

Absolutely, let's keep the ball out of the hands of athletic play makers.

We, apparently, have to call that play quite often because it certainly consumes most of our play calling.

I had the same thought. I felt Rob Spence was calling the plays again. If it does not work, keep trying it over and over.

are rpos where Trevor thinks he has the numbers on the outside. Now, if you want to take that option away from him, so be it.

Exactly, and contrary to belief by many, we typically get at least a few yards out of them, which as they say is basically like a run play. It’s also designed to keep the defensive backs up so we can burn them on a deep ball. UNC did a great job in defending them and making tackles, but I saw at least a couple where Lawrence threw the ball a little low which slowed the timing of the receiver being able to take off.

They normally use the screens to set up downfield throws but didn't Saturday for some reason

Off of bubble screens. Get it out of the QBs hands quick and into the hands of the WR to go make a play. We’ve been doing this for years. Goes back to Chad Morris.

Just like bubble screens, the opponent always seems to have success against us on those two passes.

It would help if people did their jobs and provided some better blocking too.
