Darla Moore’s New Building on Clemson Campus

We don’t need another business school do we ?

We need to come up with a new building and location on campus for Darla, fast...I sense a large donation in Clemson’s future ...

Maybe something for our football team?!

How to best stick their noses in this one?

The Lake City financier donated $10 million to Clemson for its school of education, which is named after her father.

Their family is a large supporter of higher education in general. Her father was a Clemson Alum.

I think it comes down to two radically different cultures. Clemson reached out, the coots were "graceless ignoran[t]" in her words

Her father played football for Clemson.

I do not feel this changes anything from a Clemson standpoint. She has already donated 10 million so she is recognized as a major donor. Down the road, if there is a need, I am sure she will be approached by the University. I feel the School of Agriculture could be a possible good fit for her. She is a farm girl and has started a Botanical garden on her grandparent’s farm.
