Dabo's Philosophy and Shipley

Is it reasonable to assume Shipley was muzzled because he reached 1000 yards and despite Clemson's ability to win games on his back, Dabo sat him down to get the rest of the backs playing time?

Right after Shipley hit the 1000 yard mark, Pace and Maffa were put in the game and Shipley barely made an appearance.

My wife said she thought Ship may have hurt himself on the long run. I didn’t see it but she said he didn’t look right coming to the sideline after that play. He did play after that but maybe he was not 100%?

It’s quite simple. DJ needs to be the star according to the coaches. Not Shipley. Therefore they made the offense all about him when it mattered and it went horribly
