If he does not inquire into Amarius Mims…I’ll give him Clay Webb due to some character issues…But this is a massive opportunity to upgrade at a vital position…Not commit to a big donor’s kid probably named Calhoun Hampsnhire at OL who will never see the field.

I will certainly agree that this guy looks like exactly what Clemson needs from the portal.
It looks like he is moving on because he was simply disenchanted with his lack of playing time behind a two year starter.
If he’s anything near his high school ranking, he should jump right in the mix at Clemson.
Unless there are underlying character issues, I’ll bet Dabo has green lighted the heavy pursuit of Amarius Mims.

We offered both. I wouldn't give up on Webb. We did vet him. I'm sure Dabo and staff have evaluated both already.
The only thing with Mims is he's primarily a OT which we have plenty of. Webb's natural position is interior and that's what we need.
At 6'7" Mims isn't your prototype for a center position. He'd have a hard time cracking our 2 deep at tackle.
I wouldn't mind seeing us get a slot receiver either... Unless Dabo thinks Taylor will be good to go in August, which he should.

I know locker room pranks are pretty common. We once put Atomic Balm in a guys jock strap.
But what Webb allegedly did is was beyond juvenile and totally sick and disgusting.
If it’s true, no amount of vetting could get past it.

that Danny Pearman is in charge of keeping abreast of transfer portal activities. Dabo has no idea that these two individuals have entered the portal.

It seems like all of the sudden fans know more than Dabo about the kids he chooses to recruit. I may not be as much in the know as some of you about Clemson athletics. I don’t know Dabo personally but I know him to be a man of character and integrity. He has won 2 NC’s and 11 consecutive 10 win seasons so I trust him much more than anyone not on the staff to make recruiting decisions.
It’s seems like since last season more people have had a lot of advice give Dabo about everything from A-Z.
I am still All In with Dabo his staff and their decisions.

You can be all in—-that’s great. Most of us are…But you have to be living up under a fckn rock to not see where this program is headed. We have a WR staff who are all complementary WRs…zero #1s…Our OL is god awful and has been since the LSU game. When there is an opportunity to upgrade at a vital position, you do it…regardless who’s feelings get hurt. I’m telling you right now, if you stay on the status quo train with these god awful fckn boomers on here you will be on the “fire Dabo” train in a few seasons…”Trusting Dabo” won’t simply get us through the new landscape of college football.

Falling back on that term almost certainly identifies a fan as someone who has only been associated with Clemson during the good times.
It means you can’t truly appreciate Dabo because you never saw the real flip side.
And I am not talking about Tommy Bowden. Or even Tommy West. Not even Ken Hatfield.
I’m talking about the last days of Frank Howard, and the hiring of Hootie Ingram. I’m talking about Red Parker. I’m talking about 2-win seasons. I’m talking about multiple losing seasons in a row.
If you are not old enough to remember the really bad days, then you can’t truly appreciate just how good things are now. You just can’t. But that’s your problem.
You think that a 10-4 season is a disaster because you never suffered through six straight losing seasons like we “Boomers” did.
You think that believing in Dabo is stupid because you seriously think Clemson fans have some sort of entitlement to great football and some sort of choice to trusting him to get through this slight down turn
You act as if great coaches grow on trees and Clemson is a program that can simply cruise into the CFP automatically.
You say believers must have been living under a rock. That’s rich! Many who feel like it’s Dabo or nobody do so because his arrival actually got Clemson football out from under that proverbial rock after two+ decades.
“Boomers” have lived it long enough to know when we’ve got it good and what it was like not to have it good.
Oh well, that’s enough. You get the point. And even if you don’t, it’s not a big deal.

You lose EVERY ounce of credibility to me when you Say Dabo will be failing this program. He built this program from nothing and not one TOIL on this board had a thing to do with it!

So, let’s say that Dabo looks into these guys but doesn’t want them. Maybe he looks into them and they don’t want to come to Clemson.
Would he still be failing the program in your eyes?

Absolutely not…Just the mere attempt at would show he’s at least trying to improve our holes…There is nothing you can about the fact the kids just want to go some where else..He knows Webb and Mims so that’s not an issue.
