He has to make the right decisions for his program right now. It is not just about the two coordinator positions. It is about,

-all the kids currently in the program
-keeping the current recruits in the 2022 class focused on what makes "Clemson" great. Ask any kid that has signed and stayed at Clemson over the past decade, and you will hear it is the culture.
-wrong decision here is much, much, worse than a few uncomfortable weeks for us keyboard jockey's.
-keeping the guys that might get poached off his staff below the Coordinator level
- being sure that BV and TE know that he expects them to keep their word , whatever that was word has been. You know that they have talked about it.
- Getting bowl practice plans in place, he used t o have two coordinators to do that
- All you HC wannabes on the board that are talking about him owing you a press conference , grow up. He has done a dang good job, I trust him to move the ship in the right direction.

Go Christmas shopping or find a new hobby. You sound like a bunch of ###### heads from the mid state!
