Plenty of money just got freed up in the coaching salary budget. Go spend it on someone who is experienced and recruits well. The in-house stuff isn't working so great lately.

I’m not feeling it with anyone currently on staff.

Brent will be extremely hard to replace.
Just because someone has been in the program doesn’t mean they have what it takes.

He might be a home run hire one day, but I don’t think he’s ready now. While the Dlines is good, it’s tough to fail with that many 4 and 5 stars players up and down. Hopefully he’s not the pick, but I’ll support Dabo if he is.

with hiring brent and bringing in morris his job was on the line he had to make big moves..now he has two titles..does he get complacent and hire a position coach from within? or does he be proactive and bring in another seasoned dc

Yeah, only winning 2 natties and going to 6 straight playoffs has been a bummer.
Our potential 10 win season is so embarrassing.

BV was a great hire for Clemson. But he did not do it in a vacuum. He was a great cog in the wheel. Dabo runs the engine.

SHOCKED if Dabo hasn’t been planning for this inevitable situation for years. The thought that he has been caught off guard and will make a knee jerk reaction with a hire is absurd. You guys have been paying attention, right? :)
